ELCA's National Office of Ecumenical and Interreligious Relations
This office works to promote understanding among Christians and greater unity
among Christ's people. The activity of ecumenical life in the ELCA is one of
cooperation, facilitation, and accompaniment within this church and with our
ecumenical companions. The ELCA Ecumenical and Inter-Religious Relations assists
the ELCA as a public church, alive in Christ, and present for the sake of the
world.
The website for the office includes resources on full communion relationships,
national and international interchurch and interfaith organizations, information
on formal theological dialogues, and contacts with the global Lutheran
community.

- Earth Ministry

Earth Ministry's mission is to inspire and mobilize the Christian community to
play a leadership role in building a just and sustainable future. The group
works in partnership with congregations and individuals to practically respond
to this great moral challenge through education, individual and congregational
lifestyle choices, and organizing for social change through environmental
advocacy. Earth Ministry directly supports a network of 150 congregational
associates ("Colleagues") representing over 100 Puget Sound area congregations,
and has a membership of approximately 1,500. While rooted in the Christian
faith, many members come from diverse spiritual traditions. Programs and
resources are available to all.
- The Community of
the Cross of Nails

The Community of the Cross of Nails is a world-wide community of individuals and
groups, who share a commitment to a practical vision of reconciliation and a
genuine intention to live a disciplined Christian life.
