PRIDE

The NW Washington Synod has PRIDE!  

We are proud to be a Reconciling in Christ synod and there are many opportunities for you and your church to join in and celebrate during the 2026 Pride Season.

Seattle PRIDE Parade

• We will be marching in the Seattle PRIDE parade again on Sunday, June 28, 2026
• We are limited to 200 persons.
• Between April 6 and June 15, we will ask for you to register your congregation's walkers. We will need: 1) name of your congregation, 2) your main contact/leader, 3) their email and cell phone, AND 4) the number of committed walkers. Look for that notification with the RSVP email on April 6 here and in the weekly update e-news.
• Details about arrival time and location will be shared with the congregation leader the week prior to the parade

NEW Support the parade and other LGBTQIA+ activities

• Coming soon - an online giving link to support the marchers and other synod LGBTQIA+ activities.

Additional PRIDE Events Around the Synod

There are many different PRIDE events happening throughout this summer across our Synod. Like last year, our hope is to show up to as many events as possible! We hope to add Lutheran Point People for these events – if you / your church is planning to attend an event and you are willing to be the person others could reach out to – please email Susan Berg to discuss!
