Rostered Minister / SALM - Special Group Gatherings

Each of us bring our varied and unique identities into our ministry. Sometimes it can be helpful to gather with others engaged in ministry who share similar identities – for support, resource sharing, collaboration, and fellowship. 

The Synod Staff would like to host an initial convening for different groups of Rostered Ministers and SALMs in our Synod. This would be a time to listen to one another, share with the Synod Staff what might be helpful to you, and to discern if you would like to continue to gather with one another going forward. 

 We will host these gatherings in person at the Synod Office - at St. John United Lutheran Church - 5515 Phinney Avenue North in Seattle - across the street from the Zoo. 

 Here are the dates for these initial groups:

 ·   Ecumenical Rostered Ministers/SALMs – Wednesday, July 16, 10am -11:30am (Lutherans serving in other denominations / other denominational pastors serving in Lutheran settings) Parking Note - due to another event at St. John United that morning, please find street parking for this event.

 ·   LGBTQIA+ Rostered Ministers/SALMs – Thursday, July 17, 10am – 11:30am  

 ·   BIPOC Rostered Ministers/SALMs – Wednesday, August 13, 10am-11:30am
