Join us for deep conversation about science and theology. We will welcome Rev. Carmelo Santos-Rolón, PhD. as our presenter. He will draw from neuroscience and liberation theology as we explore how systems of oppression are encoded in our emotions and behaviors and how the Word of God liberates us to bring healing, community, and transformation to the world.
Dr. Santos-Rolón serves as director for theological diversity and ecumenical and interreligious engagement in the Office of the Presiding Bishop of the ELCA. Learn more about him and his work here: www.godandthebrain.com (his book is also available for purchase on this site or on Amazon.)
