The Northwest Washington Synod is thrilled to announce a new partnership in collaboration with Trinity Education Foundation through a generous grant of $50,000 for the 2023 calendar year! With this partnership, we are growing into our vision in three ways:
1.     Supporting the continued creation and capacity of the LiVE Project;
2.     Launching two additional ministry initiatives:
a.     The Synodically Authorized Lay Ministers (SALMs) program
b.     The Growing Young initiative

This emerging partnership affirms our shared vision for accompanying lay leaders in the Gospel and by equipping persons in congregational and public ministry throughout the synod and region. We trust that this emerging partnership will offer new connections and shared networks to increase the visibility and participation for how we are prioritizing and forming lay leaders in Christ and for God’s world.

“This partnership honors the history and intentions of the original Lutheran Bible Institute in the context of empowering lay individuals to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world,” said Jenny Lockwald-Stewart, executive director of Trinity Education Foundation.
