Spiritual Direction is a faith-journey resource - for you.
As Lutherans, we believe God meets us right where we are—in our jobs, our families, and our daily routines. But sometimes, it’s hard to hear God’s voice over the noise. Spiritual Direction provides the space to slow down and notice God’s presence in your life.
Historically speaking, it’s an ancient Christian practice begun hundreds of years ago in monasteries, that has resurfaced in the past 50 years as a soul practice for both rostered leaders and lay people.
The title of “Direction” is a bit of a misnomer. In actuality, Spiritual Direction is a ministry of accompaniment and attention. A Spiritual Director is a trusted companion who listens with you to see where the Holy Spirit is moving in your life, always directing you back to that deeper Divine reality.
Whether you are in need of discernment, experiencing a dry season in prayer, or simply wanting to deepen your faith, spiritual direction is a valuable resource.
