UPCOMING SERVICES & CELEBRATIONS

  • Ministry Candidate David Horton has accepted a call to serve at Trinity Lutheran Church and Schools in Lynnwood. His ordination to word and service ministry will be on Sat. Oct 24 at 2pm.
  • Rev. Tim Oleson will soon be comcluding his call at Edmonds Lutheran Church. A celebration of their shared ministry will take place on Sun. Oct. 25.
  • Rev. Rachel San Diego Garcia will soon be concluding her call at St. Matthew's, Renton. A celebration of their shared ministry will take place (with dessert) on Sun, Sept. 27. We send Rachel, husband Jason, and new baby girl, Anza off with God's blessings as they relocate for Jason's work. Rev. Gail Rautmann will be concluding her call at Gloria Dei, Lynnwood on Nov. 22. Pastor Gail's husband Chris has taken a new position out of state - stay tuned for more info as we prepare to say goodbye and thank you to Pastor Gail. 

DID YOU HEAR?

  • Rev. Dan Peterson concluded his call at Queen Anne Lutheran Church, Seattle on August 31. We hold Pastor Dan in prayer as he heads to California to help with family caretaking. 
  • Rev. Steve Jerbi concluded his call at University Congregation (UCC) in Seattle in August. (He will continue his call as Dir. of Organized for Mission.) 
  • SALM Steve Olson has resigned from his appointment at St. Peter's Lutheran Church (Clinton). We give thanks for this partnership.
  • Cross of Christ Lutheran Church (Bellevue) and Sammamish Hills Lutheran Church (Sammamish) have entered a Parish relationship and will share the pastoral services of Revs. David & Nyla Schoeld. God bless this new ministry partnership!
  • Rev. Priscilla Paris Austin has concluded her call at Immanuel Lutheran Church (July 21) While we will be sad to see her go, we are thrilled that she has accepted the call to serve as Assistant to the Bishop in the New Jersey Synod - beginning mid-August. We give thanks to God for the rich shared ministry - and pray for God's blessings as she (and her fabulous family) prepare for this time of transition.
