LiVE Project Retreat
If Caesar's Roman empire is the classic case for systems of domination and subjugation, another empire most of us live inside today is digital, algorithmic, attention-hungry, endlessly forming our desires whether we notice or not. Augustine spent a lifetime thinking hard about rightly ordered loves, about what happens to a soul that loves the wrong things and in the wrong order.
We turn to his wisdom not as ahistorical archive removed from our world, but as a genuinely practical, and deeply theological approach, for living faithfully inside a digital world that never stops demanding our attention, our time, and our loyalty.
